TBT - Turquoise Chill

Now that the cold weather is definitely here, I thought I'd do a winter look throwback. I had paired my ivory sweater dress with a turquoise blazer and grey tights. I typically only wore this blazer in the spring and summer because it's such a bright colour. I went outside the box a bit to layer it with a sweater dress and was very pleased with the outcome. This is definitely a cool way of layering to brighten up your mood in those cold, dark days of winter. I'm all about wearing pastels in the winter, but who knew I could step that up a notch and really like it? Have you ever tried layering a blazer over a sweater dress? It's good for those really cold days!
