It's the season to layer and button up! The cold is upon us and we are in for a rough winter... I figured this little sweater dress would be a good start and the button detailing is so precious. I like it when basic pieces are jazzed up with crafty embellishments. It just helps them stand apart from the other basics. I opted for fun polka-dot tights that sort of mimic the buttons (yes, I went there.) Today was also the first day I dug out the winter boots as we got our first snow dump. I also brought out one of my classic winter coats. This grey wrap-coat with big collar/hood is the perfect layering piece as it is super easy to wear and is just so simple and timeless. You really can't go wrong with a classic wool wrap-coat in a neutral colour. Should you be on the lookout for such a coat, look no further than the options linked below!
