Deer Diary...

Oh deer, I did it again. I wore too many layers... This seems to be a recurring theme this winter. I consistently think it's colder than it actually is. Although we got a few really cold days recently, the temperature rose about 20 degrees in the span of twenty-four hours. I'm bundling up one day and taking my coat and mitts off the next. No wonder I don't know how to dress anymore! I guess the beauty of wearing layers is that you can "shed" one or two as the day goes on. I suppose I could have removed my shirt and just worn the sweater, but it was too late by the time I realized I was too warm when walking outside. I draw the line at trying to take off a shirt (while keeping on the sweater) in the middle of the sidewalk. I carried my coat, but kept on all other layers. You're welcome! Besides, all the pieces worn were part of the lewk and I would not dare pick apart the unit: the deer just wouldn't be the same without the dots. I got all hot and bothered in the name of style. You do what you've got to do!
