Finally getting some fall weather and I can play with layers. I jumped at the occasion to wear a sweater over a dress (it's been a minute since I used this trick) and love the result! I started with a striped summer dress that has some warm tones throughout. I pulled out those tones with the cognac sweater and booties. I then added in a brown statement belt to make it even more autumnal. I finished off with citrine earrings and a matching velvet hair bow. I love how I was able to transition this summery dress into fall with creative layering and a warm colour palette. Don't be afraid to try something new with stuff you already have in your closet. Also dare to mix seasonal pieces in with pieces from other seasons. The results can be magical!
