It's finally here! My favourite time of year is here and I couldn't be happier about it! September 1st marks the official start of fall for me (don't come at me with the fall equinox technicality, I'm aware). To me, September is a fall month, end of story. While I don't actually go back to school this time of year, I definitely feel that same excitement in the air. I also work in an educational setting, so the buzz is really felt! Today's post is my annual back-to-school look. I always tend to lean into the preppy vibes and this year follows that same pattern. I started with a plaid mini skirt, added an orange bodysuit and topped it off with a navy blazer. I'm loving the more autumnal colour palette! I accessorized with a matching orange bag and bow details. The perfect navy bow pumps and big sating hair bow bring a bit of whimsy to the look and keep it from being too stern. The finishing touch is a vintage brooch from my mom, who happened to be a teacher. Full circle moment! Happy fall!
