Heading into the holidays like... Ok, I really had to resist wearing a red sweater with this look with all of my might. I settled on my seafoam cardigan and this the result is super cute and, most importantly, not festive! But this outfit would clearly be easily converted to a festive look by swapping out the seafoam colour for red. A base look of a black and white bouclé skirt and sating camisole is a perfect starting off point for a holiday look. Keep things simple and classic, then just add pops of festive colours with your accessories. Black tights and black shoes are also a great, safe way to go. It elongates the leg and dresses up a look without drawing the eye. You want the focus of the look to be on the festive elements of your outfit.
