Opting for a simple, classic look today, but adding in some prints for interest. To me, dressing between the fall and holiday seasons is a bit like that confusing time between Christmas and New Year's. I find myself somewhere between leaves, pumpkin, orange and red, sequins and festive tartans. Over the first category, but a bit too soon for the second. So, I try to transition between the two with my colour palette. Today's look is very simple and takes elements from both categories to make a great in between look. We have the browns from fall, but the burgundy can work for both seasons. The printed scarf is neither exclusively autumnal nor festive, but rather a great neutral piece. I suppose this outfit is a bit of a palate cleanser between my full-on fall dressing and what will be unmistakable festive looks coming your way.
