Nothing screams librarian quite like a vintage pleated plaid skirt and bow-detail sweater. I actually work in a library, so this aesthetic is very me, and I happened to be manning a booth the day I wore this outfit, so was very much fitting the setting. This skirt actually used to be my mom's and I love it! I mean, it's a pleated midi plaid skirt - basically the most me skirt. I'm also not mad that the burgundy and evergreen colour scheme fits perfectly with the holiday palette. I don't think this look is subtle at all and I'm okay with it because it's basically the holidays now, so I can indulge in the festive wear.
