I love the idea of the twelve days of Christmas; why not celebrate until January 6th? I personally leave my decorations up until after Epiphany for that very reason, I want to feel the festive vibes for as long as possible! There are many holidays throughout this period; Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years. Besides those official ones, in my family we also have my parent's wedding anniversary, my mom's birthday and my dog's birthday as well. I mean, it's just one long celebration! Why rush the dark winter days ahead when you can bask in the warmth of Christmas cheer for longer? That's my hot take. So, to keep the festivities going, I'm still fully wearing festive clothing and this tartan skirt made by my mom holds a special place in my heart and I make a point of wearing it every holiday season! It's perfection.
