Scarlet Ikat

Another navy/red/white look for you guys... Why reinvent the wheel? It's a tried and true colour combination so I have zero shame in repeating it. I did have some fun with the print-mixing and the bold accessorizing today. This ikat-print dress is one of my favourite basic pieces. It's a classic A-line cut and the pattern and palette are timeless. It's very similar to one of the Duchess of Cambridge's dresses and it's proven to be very versatile. For example, today, I gave it a nautical spin by pairing it with a striped cardigan and adding statement red earrings and classic block heels. I'm thinking Kate should re-wear her dress with similar accessories, it would totally work for her!
