Light and Dark

I'm sort of getting tired of wearing only dark jeans, so I thought I'd change things up a bit by wearing light-wash ones. I paired them with my favourite striped sweater from last fall because the baby blue matches well. I added contrast with the burgundy t-shirt and brown boots and love the balance of light and dark! Layering doesn't have to weigh you down, it can be light and airy, even in the middle of winter! I've also been wearing my hair tied up a lot more these days because with the tuques, hoods, earmuffs and general frizz, it's easier to manage. Let's just add hair care to the long list of winter-dressing challenges! Sometimes, winter is just not cute.
