Winter Ruffle
Last day of work before I take a few days off prior to the wedding! The excitement is building! I wanted to be warm and comfortable for work, so I chose my thick plaid pencil skirt and a ruffle sweater! I'm really loving pastel shades for winter. The lighter hues have the effect of cheering me up (or maybe that's the wedding?) In any case, pastels just feel and look lighter, which is a big deal amidst the layers of winter dressing! I realize my grey boots aren't a perfect match to my look, and that you can't even see the navy tights, but I don't have a rugged winter footwear option that worked better, so grey it is! My little navy booties were not going to cut it in the snow today... Oh well, sometimes function wins over fashion!
