New Year, Same Favourites!

With the new year (and new decade!) just around the corner, it got me thinking about how my style has evolved in the last ten years. I've gone from being a university student, to joining the work force and starting a style blog. I feel I've really found my style since documenting my daily looks on the blog, yet I find it changing a bit every year. However, some things stay the same and those staple are what really define my personal style. Let's start with the obvious things. Headbands are a somewhat recent addition, but I see them sticking around for the long haul. I think it's also safe to say plaid isn't going anywhere any time soon! Pearl accessories of any kind are timeless and their spot in my wardrobe is well-established. I've also discovered a fondness for pins and brooches and love the whimsical and vintage flair they add to any look. I also predict they will stick around for a while. All in all, I think I could best describe my general style as preppy-colourful-feminine with a hint of vintage! Ha! That doesn't narrow it down too much! What can I say, I like a bit of everything! Here's to a new decade of personal style evolution! But now, I'll have documented proof of said evolution...
