Little Navy Dress

That moment you stumble upon the most perfect navy dress... It's a classic silhouette, a great cut, nipped in at the waist, can easily be layered, is both a little vintage and modern: I mean this dress is the Holy Grail of perfect little navy dresses. I had been on the hunt for such a dress to fill a void in my wardrobe and this one delivers! 

This dress can be worn all year round and styled for any season. I can easily layer a blouse or a long-sleeve top under it, I can layer a cardigan or blazer over top, I can wear with tights or not, I can wear with any footwear from sandals to flats to over-the-knee boots, I can wear it for work or dress it up for a more formal event and the list goes on! 

I also like the thicker material that helps it keep its shape and hang nicely. I can't stop raving about this dress! I'd have to admit the only downside for me is that I can't wear a belt with it, which is something I really like to do. However, the belt-like detailing and buttons at the waist basically make it a permanently-belted dress, so there's no need for a belt! It really is the perfect blank canvas on which to build any look or style. I can see myself wearing this piece for years to come and it always being in style. Such is the beauty of timeless pieces!
