Diamonds and Checks!

Added subtle patterns in my outfit today. The plaid shirt peaking from underneath the sweater and the tonal diamond pattern in the tights. The plaid shirt ties together the colour palette of my look while the tights help add interest to a completely navy lower half. The cute bow pumps help with that too! I pinned a light pink ribbon brooch to my sweater to add a bit more feminine preppiness and as a wink to the shoes. I really liked this look! It's a great option to ease out of winter dressing and into spring layering. I kept the usual blouse/sweater layer, but toned it down by wearing a mini skirt with tights and pumps. (I only wore the pumps indoors, but you get the gist.)
