In the Navy Nap Dress

Feeling that navy monochrome mood today! I'm debuting my Navy Brocade Nap Dress and I couldn't love it more! I had been on the fence about getting a Navy Poplin Ellie because it would be such a versatile colour, but was not loving the solid colour. To me, it felt a little flat. There is so much fabric in an Ellie and I realized I prefer them with a pattern or texture. This is entirely a personal preference. Well, as luck would have it, the holiday drop included this gorgeous navy brocade option. I was in love! I much prefer the deeper navy shade of the brocade fabric and the texture is beyond. The way it catches the light is simply darling. I also like the heavier weight of the fabric, as this makes it an ideal cold-weather option. I waited for the Black Friday sales before committing to this beauty and am so glad I did! I always go on and on about the versatility of the Nap Dress, but I think this navy will be the most versatile one so far! I kept my outfit simple with a matching navy turtleneck, a statement necklace, grey tights and toecap flats. I wanted to let the dress be the focal point because it's just so perfect! This exact dress is still available and if you shop via this link you get 20% off your first order!
