I'm feeling very spring-y with today's colour palette of evergreen and blush pink. This colour combination makes me think of flowers; and flowers make me think of spring! That's one way of rushing the next season... All kidding aside, I'm not for rushing spring. I do like the fresh feel of this colour palette but I assure you the outfit is very much a winter one. I'm taking layers, warmth and the like. Don't be fooled by the colours! I do like that finding brighter colours to layer clothing with in March is a fun way of making winter feel less drab. The trick is in the way you construct your look. I've got a cable-knit sweater, but underneath the sweater is a long-sleeve lace top and a tank top. Then I've got thick tights under my skirt and wool socks over my tights in my boots. I also made sure to wrap myself in a chunky blanket scarf over my coat before venturing in the frigid outdoors. This outfit says spring, but in reality it is very much a winter look.
