Light colours but still thick layers. The last couple weeks have been giving me weather whiplash. We had a beautiful meltdown and then winter came back with a vengeance. There was no need for that. Dressing for these weather swings has just added to the daily dread. Will I need a rain coat and umbrella or my heavy-duty winter boots and every winter accessory known to mankind? I'm playing wardrobe roulette every day! So far, I've been able to pivot and anticipate just the right outerwear. But it's been stressful! I know this too shall pass but the seasonal unpredictability is taking its toll. I think this might be part of the reason spring is not my most favourite season. It has a lot to do with end-of-winter/early-spring weather games. Let's just say it's not the smoothest seasonal transition. I like spring once we're in May, but March and April are not my favourite months... Give me green grass, budding trees and blooming flowers - that's the version of spring I can look forward to. For now, I'll just be doing my best and hoping my outfit choice aligns with the daily forecast.
