I'm using my outfit formula for a transitional look today. I chose my green tartan Nap Dress. Although it leans towards a festive colour palette, I paired the dress with a bright yellow cardigan to pick up on the gold lines in the pattern. I thought it would brighten the overall colour and give it a springtime feel. I then added my marigold velvet hair bow for even more yellow and think I managed to style this dress for spring. The deep green and taupe boots lean into earthy colours, which abound this time of year. It's all evergreens and mud puddles these days so the pop of yellow makes for a joyful touch!
