I opted for a neutral, cooler, more winter palette with today's look. A few grey days of freezing rain will do that to your inspiration... I recently wore a similar outfit and loved the contrasting proportions of the chunkier sweater with corduroy mini skirt, tights and booties. It's still a winter look but feels overall less heavy and layered. I like the cool palette of navy and different shades of grey, there's something timeless about it. I did have fun with the patterned tights and love the bit of whimsy they add. I also busted out the gingham hair bow, which is definitely a more springtime print. I managed to sneak a little bit of spring in my winter look after all!
