Who says you can't wear florals and pastels in the winter? Pish-posh! I think there is a way to wear practically any print and any colour anytime! Seasonal dressing is a must, but we do have some leeway with colours and patterns. I agree some colours and textures lend themselves better to certain times of year or weather, but that doesn't mean we can't wear them at other times. Take today's outfit, for example. I wanted to wear my wisteria dress which, on its own, is objectively a spring/summer piece. However, by pairing it with a lilac sweater and taupe suede boots, it somehow works for winter. I wouldn't go so far as saying this is a winter dress, but I was able to dress it for winter.
