With more and more outings in the run up to the Holidays, it means there are more occasions to dress up. I love a good reason to pull out all the stops! The most recent outing was meeting an uncle for dinner at the jazz bar. We love this place and go often, but I decided to get a little fancier this time around because I'm itching to wear all the shiny festive things! I chose a mostly black look, but added a statement purple warp dress to the mix! I didn't want to go too full-on Christmas, so the purple keeps things tame.
I accessorized with my black pearl earrings and necklace (both gifts from my husband) and a whopper of a headband! This stunner might be black, but it sure packs a punch! Many of you might recognize it as the same one recently worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. Funny thing, I had actually purchased it just before she wore it! You can imagine my surprise and excitement when I spotted it on her! I admire the DoC's style, so this was the ultimate form of validation in my choice of accessory.
