Mimi Takes Five - #77

ONE // Pearl Headband
My hair-accessory kick is still going strong. I'm all about those headbands. hair clips and bows. Accessorizing my hair totally brings me back to my childhood and I wonder why I ever phased it out... Coming in strong with a more subtle pearl headband from J. Crew Factory. I love a good statement headband, but there is something to be said about an understated, classic, thinner band. The delicate pearls give the accessory a hint of timeless glamour while keeping things looking effortless. Add this to any outfit of the day for instant style points!

TWO // Betty Boop Manicure
Wearing this new nail polish from my recent Ipsy bag. It's this beautiful, shimmery burgundy/fuchsia shade. It's one of the products they designed for the Betty Boop collection and I love it! I typically like shades of red polish, so this one was right up my alley. It's also the perfect shade to wear this time of year in the run-up to the holiday season!

THREE // Burgundy Tote
Speaking of burgundy, I've been carrying this tote for the past couple months. I got it for a steal in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it's all sorts of amazing! I like the tote size for daily use because I carry a lot of things. This one is super roomy and has a removable envelop clutch that I just use as an inside pocket. It's pretty sturdy and holds its shape well over time. You can carry it on your shoulder or just in your hand. The colour also matched perfectly with my fall wardrobe, so I could totally use it every day. This is my second Sole Society tote and I would highly recommend them for the price point!

FOUR // Facial Massager
I got this little gizmo a few weeks ago at Winners. It looked interesting and was about $10, so I figured I'd give it a try. It's basically a little battery operated wand that massages your face. You move it in tiny circular motions to release tension and reduce puffiness. I use it mostly on my temples and jawline and find it quite relaxing. I can't say I've noticed a difference in my face since I've been using it, but it does help with the tension. I typically use it in the evening, with a freshly washed face.

FIVE // Navy Blazer
Is there anything more wardrobe-staple-worthy than the navy blazer? It's definitely the cornerstone of any preppy or professional wardrobe. Not only can it be dressed-up or down, but it can be worn time and again and will pretty much go with everything in your closet. Instantly look put-together or give off that casual/cool vibe. Chances are, the navy blazer would fit right into your personal look, no matter your unique style. Although I've had a few navy blazers over the years, this simple ponte one from Old Navy is the most comfortable one I've ever worn. It does not restrict movement, it's comfortable to wear and is super easy to layer. What more could I want?
