Tame Orange

I was trying to think of a less bold way to wear this bright orange dress. It's a fun colour to wear in the summer, but I'm trying to find different ways of styling it (and avoiding pairing it with black because it will be too Halloween-y for my taste). I love wearing it with neutral, straw accessories but also wanted a bit more contrast. I decided to add a light-wash denim jacket and it was perfect! Floral earrings and a cute little pin give it just the right amount of flare. Full confession: I was going to wear wedges today, but wasn't feeling it so I switched them out for my raffia flats and was so glad I did! These things are so comfortable, it's like wearing slippers.
