Edgy Glamour
Seeing as I was attending a second concert, I wore an edgier look. I decided on coated leggings, a grey tunic with slits, a cropped mixed media jacket, a statement necklace and metallic plimsolls. I stuck with a black/grey/metallic pallet as I feel this is appropriate for sitting in a dark theater without distracting from the main act. I felt the outfit hit all the right notes, from texture, to colour and finishing touches! Edgy meets glamorous in this look!
P.S. My partner found a great location to take outfit pics! I'm loving the obelisks and pillars in the snow!

Angular Edges
I remember learning geometric shapes in Kindergarten and getting up one by one to go draw a triangle on the blackboard. I've always loved that shape, maybe because 3 is my favourite number and triangles have 3 sides. Who knows? Today's outfit is very tri-angular! There are a few triangles seen in the seams and the open peplum of the top. There are triangles all around the top and bottom of the belt. I could even debate that the lines in the skirt are very abstract triangles. I have to admit, I don't absolutely love the combination of a peplum top with an A-line skirt. This outfit is not an A+ in my book, but hey, not every outfit is a winner! I love to experiment, and sometimes things don't always turn out the way I pictured them in my head. That said, I do love all the elements of this outfit individually, simply not together. It's all about trial and error, I learn from my fashion faux-pas!

Sheer Edge
I was definitely feeling edgy when I put this outfit together. I love a good black and white print garment, and this ikat print gives the skirt a unique touch. I paired it with a sheer-panel peplum top and caged sandals. I love that both the footwear and the top give glimpses of skin. In an odd way, it gives the outfit a bit of symmetry. I figured I'd wear my hair in a half-bun, just to keep with the cutting-edge factor. Not wanting to push the boundaries too far, I opted to wear drop-pearl earrings to soften the look just a tad. Sometimes, I like to add an unexpected twist to an outfit. It makes people ask questions!
