Off the Gravy Train!

Christmas break is over, it's back to work for me! The festive turkey and gravy are long gone... It now definitely feels like winter and with winter comes the dark colour palette. It's not all gloom and doom though, because I really like pastels in the winter as well. Mixing both dark and light hues helps give a look depth and interest, all while anchoring it. I opted for a navy ruffle pinstripe dress and grey tights and boots. I added a necklace in the same palette for some monochromatic bling-iness. For the outdoor look, I added my powder blue coat and a bold cobalt blanket scarf for a pop of colour! I topped off the look with a large-knit pompom beanie.

A pinstripe dress is a great wardrobe staple, but this particular one is a bit more whimsical with the ruffles. I linked some similar dresses and coats in the widget below for those who wish to update their winter wardrobes.
