All Grey, Every Grey

On my last day off before heading back to work in the new year, we ventured out into society. We had to go do groceries as the fridge was pretty bare, so seeing as we had to leave the house, we made the most of our day. We decided to go to one of our favourite little towns and do the shops. Turns out not much was open, but we did have a great conversation with a shop owner and found out he was a camera man for many years filming Hallmark channel movies in Vancouver. Seeing as I am a huge Hallmark movie fan, that totally made my day! After that great encounter, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at the local pub and made our way back home. It was a chill day just spending quality time together, the perfect way to wrap up the Holidays! Now that I've taken the brave step of venturing out into the cold, my first day back at work might not be as daunting!

I opted for a simple neutral look of light grey and dusty blue. A basic cable knit sweater, skinny jeans and hints of baby blue was a great outdoor winter look. My scarf is actually handmade. My mom got creative one year with her students are showed them how to turn an old t-shirt into a multi-strand infinity scarf. I was gifted one of them and love the whimsical upcycled feel of it!
