Burgundy Bundling

Another day off, another comfy outfit! Can we just talk about the super cozy sweater I reached for today? It's an oversized fair-isle eyelash cardigan. It has a nice weight to it and is the ultimate layering piece for winter.  It's a classic knit with just a hint of colour. It even has a hood for those extra cold days! I paired it with basic leggings and a long-sleeve tee. The sweater is the statement piece that instantly takes the look up a notch. It's another glam lounging look. You could easily wear this to a low-key house party, to grandma's for brunch or even for après-ski. It really is that versatile! When I find a sweater that serves a heavy-duty purpose (ie: keeping you super warm) AND is stylish, I jump on it! This is what I call an investment piece (even though I got it on clearance last year...) I plan I wearing it on repeat during the polar vortex forecast this winter... Yup, I am not making this up, it happens when cold air is pushed down from the Arctic. So yes, saying that Canadian winters are cold is not an understatement. I would be tempted to use the work frigid more often than not. All that to say that investing in a decent sweater is money well spent!
