Winter Mint

This seafoam sweater has got me feeling like a vacation somewhere tropical... The fresh hue is lifting my spirits (slightly) during the dead of winter. I like wearing pastels during the colder months because they are unexpected and really help lighten all those dreary dark shades more prominent this time of year. My look is a bit of both, a light, fresh topper with a grounding black bottom. I did add a fun green necklace to the mix and like how it sits perfectly in the cowl neck. I've also been wearing my hair up more lately as I find it easier to manage with all the hat/scarf/earmuff layering... Even if I do style it, sometimes the weather is wet and windy, so the efforts are futile. The other day, I curled it and, after waiting a solid 40 minutes for the bus in the snow storm, it was a hot mess. When it's bitterly cold, I always chose warmth over style. Frostbite in never cute...
