If I had to pick my most favourite festive piece from my wardrobe, it has got to be this red tartan wrap skirt. Not only is it quintessentially Christmassy, but it was lovingly made for me by my mom. It was made with so much love and such attention to detail, characteristic of my mom's meticulous sewing talents. I will never part with this skirt, it's my all-time favourite. I also couldn't let the festive season pass me by without wearing it at least once. So here it is styled with my beige puff sleeved sweater, velvet and pearl headband, black lariat and cognac booties. I love how the only truly festive element is the skirt, yet it makes all the other pieces work for the holidays. I do love the power of a statement piece!
