When your husband says you look very 60s and your friend says you look like a 50s housewife, I think it's fair to say my look today has a retro vibe! You know what? I totally see it now. It's not what I was originally going for with this look, but I am totally on board with this take, ha ha! I mean, the full polka-dot midi skirt and turtleneck are very much creating that classic silhouette, while the high pony with bow just drives the point home. While the base look is not in itself very festive, I did give it a Christmas twist with the red bow pumps, red lips and gold accessories. This is a prime example of how to give some festive hints to an otherwise non-festive outfit. It's all in the accessories! Even just a swipe of red lipstick and some red jewelry can turn pretty much any outfit into a Christmas look. Dressing in a festive manner doesn't have to be complicated.
