Deck the Halls

Tomorrow is December first so that means it's Christmas full-speed ahead as of now! When I was growing up, it was the tradition to decorate for Christmas on either December first or the first weekend of the month. The deal was that we could only decorate if the house was clean. Nothing motivates kids to clean the house more than the promise of decking the halls! My mom was on to something... I've kept the tradition in the sense that I clean the house prior to decorating and that I decorate around the beginning of December. I actually plan on doing just that tomorrow! To get me into the festive spirit, I wore a totally Christmassy look today. I busted out the sequins, the red tartan and the evergreen for an all-out festive outfit. I'd make the Hallmark Christmas-movie stylists proud!
